We are counting down the days till the TSB Surf Life Saving Nationals hit our shores.

With only 10 days to go, nationals are nearly here. 

On Thursday the 9th of March Surf Lifesaving nationals will kick off with a packed full day of master’s events.   

Following the master’s competition, on Friday the 10th of March the main competition will commence, with 3 full days of action-packed hard racing. 

This event is expected to attract over 1,500 competitors from every corner of the country, competing in all aspects of Surf Lifesaving sports. 

The New Brighton Surf Lifesaving club has reserved the club’s function room for our members to watch from during the event. This is sure to be one of the best spots on the beach to spectate from.

We invite our members past and present to come down and watch the action take place. This is the first time in 7 years that this event has been in Christchurch, and it might be the last time it is down here for a number of years.
